Overall my experience has been fantastic!! I'm a new puppy owner and needed a great deal of assistance and guidance teaching my new pouch everything! I'm so grateful for all of your continued support and mentor ship over the past 5 weeks! Bailey has become a well behaved little puppy thanks to Marion's consistent leadership and all her tricks to the trade. Highly recommended!!!!!!

Molasses Creek Dog Training is amazing and Marion is an excellent trainer! Marion came to my home for training because we couldn't fit the puppy classes into our schedule. Included in the home visits was the opportunity for our little Gina to attend her Yappy Hour where she could play with other puppies. She absolutely loved that and we did too!

Marion's caring and gentle approach to training Gina was highly effective. She is an excellent trainer and I highly recommend her.

We just finished puppy I manners class with our 6 month old golden retriever Tucker. Marion is very knowledgeable and positive. She makes training fun and shares lots of helpful information. Marion spends time helping you understand her training techniques and why she is teaching them. When we first started attending our puppy was scared and not real confident, but after starting class and attending her free yappy hour we always arrived with an excited puppy and left with a tired puppy. We are looking forward to learning more and continuing with molasses creek dog training in puppy II manners class. Thank you Marion!

Marion has been such a blessing to us! We have two young Jack Russell mixes, Carter and Quincy, both bouncing with energy. She has helped us focus that energy and the bond with my dogs grows deeper with each class! She is incredibly patient and genuinely cares about our success! Now if only she taught a class on how to train your husband… ;)

When I was first approached about putting our two dogs in to a training class I was pretty skeptical. We had them for over a year and a half, and while we had some issues (jumping and typical things like that) I felt that they were pretty well behaved dogs. After taking the initial class "Adult I manners" I was so impressed with the difference in the behavior of the dogs, that I continued in to the canine good citizen class to help my dogs progress that much more. Marion has the patience of a saint and is incredible to work with, I've already recommended her to coworkers and would suggest you try it as well with your dogs.

My now 8 mth old Puppy, Stevvie, is a Pitbull Terrier mix and sort of a rescue and full of spit and fire. Once she had her last shots I started taking her to Petco for puppy classes. It was a disaster. She was the only puppy there so she had no socialization and when I voiced my frustration I was told about the puppy play times. I took her and Stevvie was so scared and defensive with other dogs that she was labeled as aggressive and kicked out of puppy playtime. I feared the worse but then I decided to fire Petco and found Marion who immediately invited me to bring Stevvie for evaluation and she determined that Stevvie needed to be desensitized to help her at least tolerate other dogs so I signed her up for Puppy I and it’s been an amazing ride. Marion uses lots of love and praise. I never knew how easy clicker training is and how quickly puppies learn that way. No shocks, no chokers; just the clicker, treats, love and praise. We are now in the midst of Puppy II as well as Trick Class and Stevvie has progressed so much that she is now in Doggie Day Care and loving it. I’m looking forward to her passing her Good Citizen Canine test and ultimately work towards a Therapy License. I am forever grateful that Marion gave Stevvie a second chance at happiness and highly recommend her training classes to anyone who wants to have a happy, well-rounded and well behaved pup.

My family and I had private classes with Marion for our 6 month old lab/boxer mix named Doctor. We are very, very pleased with the results. Marion was excellent at showing us with Doctor what exactly to do to get him to be a well behaved puppy. The dog immediately loved her! She helped us to understand how the dog thinks, which makes us better owners, as well as helping us to train him when the "master" Marion isn't here. Her training methods were all well received by the dog and were easy enough for us to do as homework. The doctor now comes when called and is excellent on the leash. As those were our two main concerns, Marion appeared to easily have the dog right by her side. We, of course, will still need practice. We would absolutely love to work with Marion and Molasses Creek Dog Training again.

When we first brought Luca home, we were concerned about his behavior and his interaction with the kids and the cat. Although he had some training, we couldn't keep him from getting into everything! These past weeks with Marion have changed all of that. Now even my three year old can issue commands that he follows! With Marion's individualized program, we worked on exactly what we needed to solve our issues. She taught us how to properly interact with Luca to get results. We are excited to move on to her trick class and see what he can do!

We adopted our puppy August 1st and started puppy manners I with Marion only 2 days later. We knew we had our work cut out for us, but Marion made things so much easier with her helpful training tips. Each week we could see a huge improvement in Kima. We also attended the free yappy hour every Thursday and saw Kima go from hiding under the chairs, to seeking out other puppies to play with. Every time we pull into the parking lot for lessons, Kima can't wait to get out of the car. Marion also gave us some tips on crate training and housebreaking. She cares about all aspects of raising a puppy and has made being a "puppy parent" so much less stressful.
